September 11, 2001, will live in the mind of every American throughout time. America will never forget 9/11/01. Lindenhurst will never forget. September is a time to remember all that was lost to us that day: our sense of security, our peace, our innocence, our belief that we were safe beyond such random violence. Most of all, we remember those who lost their lives on September 11th, and specifically, the eight Lindenhurst residents that lost or gave their lives that horrific day. This year, the Village of Lindenhurst will be holding our 20th Year Candlelight Remembrance Service beginning at 7:00PM

The Lindenhurst St. Patrick’s Parade Committee will be holding a Press Conference on Wednesday, December 8, 2021, beginning at 9:00 AM, in front of Belfast Gastro Pub, located at 101 North Wellwood Avenue, Lindenhurst, NY 11757. The Lindenhurst St. Patrick’s Parade Committee cordially invites you to attend, as Village Trustee RJ Renna and Belfast Gastro Pub Proprietor David Crowe announce plans for the First Annual Lindenhurst St. Patrick’s Parade. Former U.S. Congressman Peter King will also be in attendance as he is announced as the parade’s inaugural Grand Marshal. The parade will take place on Saturday, March 26th, 2022
