In the News

The Village of Lindenhurst will be milling these roadways beginning on Friday, November 5, 2021. (WEATHER PERMITTING). Please Note all motor vehicles must be off the streets by 7:00 am; the streets will be reopened each day in the late afternoon. The Village will make every effort to limit your inconvenience and keep the roads passable. Please bear with us as we make these much-needed improvements to our Village. Weather permitting, asphalt work will begin the following week; you will receive additional notification as soon as possible. Thank you in advance for your cooperation. Lindenhurst Recognized for Workplace Safety

Local Spotlight

For the second year in a row, the Village of Lindenhurst has been recognized by Comp Alliance, the Village’s workers compensation carrier, as a safe workplace environment. The Village was awarded with a check for their loyalty to Comp Alliance and continued decrease in workers compensation claims. The Village established a Safety Committee, which meets regularly, to work on ways to improve safety concerns, and implement safety programs and procedures. The Village is committed to keeping its employees safe, and continues to work at improving workplace conditions and minimizing workplace injuries. Picture here are (left to right): Village
