The Village of Lindenhurst encourages all residents and visitors to support our local merchants and shop in our Downtown Business District on Small Business Saturday, November 27, 2021, and throughout the holiday season. The Village has a variety of businesses from boutiques to bakeries, breweries, a meadery, and restaurants. Come down and support our Lindenhurst Business District this holiday season. Boy Scout Troop 284 Eagle Scout Court of Honor Ceremony

Lindenhurst Mayor Michael Lavorata recently attended the Eagle Scout Court of Honor Ceremony for Jonathan Miller, Lance Novick, Jonathan Reggi and Ajay Sigh of Boy Scout Troop 284, which was held at Copiague Middle School. Eagle Scout is the highest honor a Boy Scout can achieve after completing hours of community service, finishing an Eagle Scout project, and attaining numerous merit badges. Mayor Lavorata was joined by Suffolk County Legislature Presiding Officer Kevin McCaffrey, in presenting each Eagle Scout a day in their honor as recognition of their hard work and dedication.
