Mayor Lavorata and Trustees Sworn In at Organization Meeting

Mayor Michael Lavorata, who was recently elected to a two year term as Mayor of the Village of Lindenhurst, was sworn in on Monday night at the Village’s annual Organization Meeting. Mayor Lavorata was sworn in by Suffolk County Supreme Court Justice Joseph Santorelli. Mayor Lavorata stated, “It is a pleasure to be sworn in as Mayor and to continue to serve the people of this wonderful Village.”

Also sworn in was Trustee Maryann Weckerle, who was re-elected to a four year term as Trustee. Trustee Weckerle was sworn in by Suffolk County Legislator Kevin J. McCaffrey. Additionally, Trustee Weckerle was reappointed by Mayor Lavorata as Deputy Mayor.

Trustee RJ Renna was sworn in to a two-year term as Trustee by Suffolk County Supreme Court Justice James F. Quinn.

Newly elected to the Village Board, Trustee Pat Pichichero was sworn in to a four year term as Trustee by Suffolk County District Court Judge James McDonaugh.

Also re-elected was Village Justice H. John Bopp.
