All proceeds will benefit the Lindenhurst Historical Society’s on-going stewardship of the Village’s three museums

Lindenhurst, NY –Back by popular demand, the Lindenhurst Historical Society is hosting its second annual Televised Night at the Races, Saturday June 13, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Fireman’s Memorial Pavilion, 555 Heling Blvd., Lindenhurst. Admission is $15.00 per person. All are invited to attend and enjoy an evening of fun and real cash wagering. Food and refreshments will be available for purchase.

Televised horse racing features actual pre-recorded horse races projected on screens to recreate the excitement of being at the racetrack. A live announcer will call post times and announce wagering opportunities; adding commentary about each race for the crowd’s amusement. Attendees are encouraged to don their finest race day attire and to be part of this year’s competition for the Best Derby Hat– their best “Derby” millinery!

All proceeds will benefit the Lindenhurst Historical Society’s on-going stewardship of the Village’s three museums; the 1901 Restored LIRR Depot and Freight House Museum, the Old Village Hall Museum and the Lindenhurst Historical House Museum. The Society hopes to see you there.

For tickets and more information, please call the Lindenhurst Historical Society at 631-506-8431 or email lindenhursthistoricalsociety@gmail.com.
