LINDENHURST 2021 SUMMER CONCERT SERIES CLOSES

Every year, the Village of Lindenhurst hosts a free concert series at Village Square Park.  This year’s concerts featured some awesome performances, family fun, and great entertainment in the Village’s Downtown.

POLISH CULTURE HERITAGE DAY CELEBRATION

There was another successful event held in the Village of Lindenhurst last week when Polonia of L.I., Inc. held their annual Polish Culture Heritage Day.  The annual event was well-attended with a day full of family activities, traditional Polish dancing and music, scrumptious Polish food and drink, and many vendors.

Mayor Michael Lavorata said, “Polish Culture Heritage Day is a great way to celebrate the language, culture, and history of our many Polish residents, here in Lindenhurst and on Long Island.

OKTOBERFEST ROAD CLOSURE

On October 3rd, 2021, North Wellwood Avenue, from  John Street to Hoffman Avenue, will be blocked off for the annual Oktoberfest. The street closing will begin around 10:00 AM. North Wellwood Avenue will be re-opened around 5:00 PM.

Bring your family and meet your friends for mingling on the street with outdoor dining, an array of local vendors, lots of delicious food. and our traditional “beer garden”.
