WEDNESDAYS ON WELLWOOD

August 12, 2021 by Katie McCaffrey

Lindenhurst Trustee RJ Renna announces that on Wednesday evenings, August 18th & September 1st, from 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM, the Village of Lindenhurst, in conjunction with the Chamber of Commerce, will host the first “Wednesdays on Wellwood” downtown block parties.  North Wellwood Avenue (from John Street to Hoffman Avenue), will be closed to vehicle traffic, so residents can enjoy mingling on the street for outdoor dining, live music by UnWined, and shopping with a host of local vendors and stores.

Trustee Renna said, “Come to the Lindenhurst Downtown on August 18th and September 1st to enjoy family-friendly fun, and a wide range of our best local food and shopping.  In Lindenhurst, there are delicious options for everyone!  Also, support our local businesses every day by patronizing our Downtown commercial establishments.”
