In celebration of the Ukraine‘s 25th Anniversary of Independence from the former Soviet Union, Rev. Olvian N. Popovici and members of the Holy Family Ukrainian Catholic Church of Lindenhurst gathered at Lindenhurst Village Hall to jointly raise the American flag and the Ukrainian flag in celebrations of the Ukrainian peoples dedication to democratic principles and their unity in aspiring for a better life by securing the rights to free elections and non-violent civic initiatives.
