At the August 12 Village Board Meeting, the Board of Trustees proudly recognized local athlete Arthur “AJ” Palladino for his outstanding achievements in diving. Trustee Douglas Madlon read a proclamation declaring August 12, 2025 as Arthur “AJ” Palladino Day.
AJ, a lifelong Lindenhurst resident, has quickly risen through the ranks of competitive diving, earning multiple national titles and representing the United States in international competitions. He is a member of the prestigious AAU National Team and is training with his sights set on qualifying for the 2028 Olympic Trials.
“AJ’s dedication and achievements are an inspiration to our community. We are proud to honor him and wish him continued success.” said Trustee Madlon.
