2025/2026 Tax Lien List

Pay Village Taxes – Village tax bills were mailed on Friday, February 28, 2025, and are due by April 1, 2025, without penalty. Payments received after this date will be late and subject to a 5% penalty plus a $2.00 fee. Partial payments are not accepted—only full payments will be processed.

PAYMENT OPTIONS:

  • In-Person – Pay by cash, check, money order, or credit card at Village Hall (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–3:30 PM). A non-refundable service fee of 2.95% applies to all credit card payments (both in person and online). This fee is charged by the credit card processing company and does not go to the Village.
  • Mail – Send check payments to:

Late Payments: Payments received after April 1, 2025, will incur a 5% penalty plus a $2.00 fee, which will increase each month the balance remains unpaid.

2024/25 Final Tax Roll– 2024/25 Final Tax Roll

Tax Bills – Tax bills in the Village of Lindenhurst are mailed out by March 1st and are due by April 1st. Village taxes are a once-a -year tax.

Tax Payments – Tax payments are only accepted in full. Taxes can be paid by credit card, cash, check or money order made payable to the Incorporated Village of Lindenhurst. Tax payments can be made in person, by mail or online (tax payments will not be accepted online after April 1, 2025). Please mail tax payments to 430 South Wellwood Avenue, Lindenhurst, New York 11757. If taxes are being paid by mail, then envelopes must be postmarked before the last day of the month in order for the dollar amount to be valid.

Online Payments – Payments can be made online via the payment portal through April 1, 2025. Online payments will not be accepted after April 1, 2025.

Late Tax Payments – If payment is not received by April 1, 2025, a 5 percent penalty and a $2.00 fee will be charged in addition to the tax amount. This fee will continue to increase each month it is not paid.

Tax Information – Tax information is not given out over the phone. Tax information requests can be emailed to taxclerk@villageoflindenhurstny.gov. There is a $5.00 fee per parcel for fax requests. Tax information can also be found by coming to Lindenhurst Village Hall to review the tax roll books. There is no charge when an in-person search is done.
