As Memorial Day approaches, the Village of Lindenhurst is excited to announce that planning for the annual Memorial Day Parade is officially underway. This year’s event will continue the long-standing tradition of honoring the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.
The parade and services will begin at 10:00 AM on Monday, May 26, 2025. The VFW will hold its ceremony at Breslau Ceremony and proceed to Fireman’s Memorial Park. From there, the full parade will kick off at 11:00 AM and proceed west on Hartford Street and then head south on North Wellwood Avenue. The parade will end of Village Hall, where the Village Memorial Day Ceremony will take place (approximately 12:00 PM).
The Village is grateful to the United Veterans Council of Lindenhurst for their invaluable efforts in organizing this event. Their dedication to ensuring the parade is a meaningful and impactful tribute to our fallen heroes is deeply appreciated by the community.
