The Village of Lindenhurst Board of Trustees recently recognized the creativity and community spirit of the many local organizations that participated in the 2025 Mayor’s Beautification Society (MBS) Holiday Wreath Festival.
As part of this annual tradition, the MBS provides wreaths to local scouting troops, community organizations, and service groups. Each group decorates its wreath in a unique and imaginative theme, and the finished designs are proudly displayed throughout the holiday season in the windows of downtown Lindenhurst businesses, adding festive charm to the Village.
Deputy Mayor, and MBS Chairperson, Maryann Weckerle said, “The Holiday Wreath Festival truly brought joy to our community and showcased the creativity and spirit of our local organizations. I extend my sincere thanks to all of the participating organizations, and to MBS member Angela Rosati for her leadership in coordinating the festival.”
