Marina Grais was recently presented with the Rainbow Senior Center’s $1,000.00 scholarship. Marina is a student at Lindenhurst High School. An Eagle Scout Court of Honor was recently held for Lindenhurst resident Daniel Zummo at Our Lady of Grace RC Church.  Working with the Village of Lindenhurst for his Eagle Scout Project at the Lindenhurst Village Marina, he built and installed four rescue ladders and five fishing line recycling containers.

Lindenhurst Village Department of Public Works employee Richard Spoor has retired after serving the Village for the past 28 years.  Village Administrator Douglas Madlon thanked Mr. Spoor for his  service to the Lindenhurst community and wished him a happy, healthy retirement.
