Mr. & Mrs. Santa Claus will join the Historical Society at the 1901 Restored Long Island Railroad Depot and Freight House Museum for the annual Furry Friends Fotos and Fun Event.

Lindenhurst, NY – The festive Yuletide decorations adorning the 1901 Restored Long Island Rail Road Depot and Freight House Museum will provide the perfect backdrop for the Lindenhurst Historical Society’s Second Annual Furry Friends Fotos; an opportunity for pet parents and their fur babies to enjoy and take part in what is becoming a Lindenhurst Historical Society holiday tradition Saturday December 6, 2025 from 10AM to 2PM. “Santa will be on hand to greet all visitors,” said Lindenhurst Historical Society President Evie Sosna. “There will be opportunities to have photos of your pet, furry or otherwise, taken with Santa and Mrs. Claus all while visiting the Depot grounds which have been meticulously decorated by our volunteers. We invite all to spend some time with your pet and enjoy the Restored Depot’s historic setting”.

There is a suggested donation of $5.00 with all proceeds benefiting the Lindenhurst Historical Society’s museum restoration efforts. The 1901 Restored Long Island Railroad Depot and Freight House Museum is located at Irmisch Historical Park, corner of South Broadway and Kent Avenue in Lindenhurst.
