Thomas Aloisi is the current Senior Vice Commander of the Wade-Burns VFW Post 7279.
As a proud and patriotic American, and influenced by the selfless sacrifices of prior generations, after graduating from high school in 1951, Tom signed up to serve his country in the Korean War.
Tom served for four (4) years with the United States Navy. He did his Basic Training in Baltimore, Maryland, followed by Radio School in San Diego, California. He was trained there as a Radio Communications Technician before being sent off to Yokohama, Japan.
A 62-year resident of Lindenhurst, Tom continues his service to the United States as an active member of the VFW. He is dedicated to giving back, even in a small way, to honor the memory of the many men and women of our armed forces who were not as fortunate as himself.
