We are pleased to announce that the Village will again sponsor the annual Summer Recreation Camp at the Village Park.
Lottery applications will become available on February 5, 2024 and are due back no later than February 29, 2024. (Closed for 2024 Season)
The camp will start at the beginning of July (exact date TBD) and continue for six (6) weeks. Camp hours are 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday – Friday. Campers are grouped by age (not by school grade) in the following groups: 5-7 year olds, 8-9 year olds, and 10-14 year olds.
The camp is open to Lindenhurst children who are eligible to attend the Lindenhurst School District. Please note, children must complete kindergarten by the end of this school year to be eligible to register. Our staff is planning hard to offer the campers a summer of fun. We are determined to follow all recommendations and protocols established by the Board of Health and camper to counselor ratios; thus, the lottery.
Please fill out the lottery application (available on 2/5/24). If your child is chosen, you will receive the registration documents via email. The application and all pertinent information (including instructions for registration such as time and place, required forms and fees) will be included in the email. Be sure to include all requested information on the lottery application, especially email contact. All remaining applicants who did not get chosen in the lottery will be placed on a waiting list for their age group. The fee for Village residents is $265.00 for the full six weeks and $390.00 for non-Village Lindenhurst residents.
A lottery application must be submitted for each child. If you cannot print the application or submit it via email, please call Village Hall (631) 957-7500 between 9:00 AM and 3:30 PM.
Lottery applications must be returned by email (info@villageoflindenhurstny.gov), fax (631) 957-4605, or to Village Hall no later than February 29, 2024. Lottery applications will not be accepted after that date.
PLEASE DO NOT SUBMIT MORE THAN ONE APPLICATION PER CHILD.
