On Flag Day Tuesday, June 14th, The seniors at the Village of Lindenhurst Rainbow Senior Center enjoyed a craft day. The quilting teacher Maryellen Ransom instructed the seniors on how to create a beautiful wall hanging made of scrap materials, lace and real tree branches. SAND CITY SOUTH HOSTS LINDENHURST CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
The Lindenhurst Chamber of Commerce was recently treated to a special tasting and tour of Sand City South Brewing Company, located at 150 South Wellwood Avenue, Lindenhurst. The event was held in honor of the launch of Sand City’s newest brew, “It Takes A Village” – “a beer that seeks to focus on the idea that when the tide rises, all boats in the harbor rise.” The tour was very informative on how Sand City brews beer, and how they put beer into the cans.
Village Administrator Douglas Madlon said, “Sand City Brewery has become a popular destination for socializing and fun in the heart of our revitalized Lindenhurst Downtown.”
