At a recent Rotary Club meeting, held at Goccia D’Oro restaurant, Deputy Mayor Maryann Weckerle spoke with Little Flower Shop owners Mary and John Frenna. Mr. Frenna is also a member of the Business Improvement District, the organization, along with the Village, responsible for the improvements to the holiday decorations in the Village. Deputy Mayor Weckerle and the Frennas discussed the success of the new decorations and the ongoing effort to improve the Village’s downtown, especially during the holiday season.
Deputy Mayor Weckerle said, “It’s great to see our community enjoying the new decorations during the holiday season! The hard work of the Business Improvement District, the Village, and the many other community groups is what makes Lindenhurst such a special place to live.”
