Assemblywoman Kimberly Jean Pierre sponsored a New York State Citizen Preparedness Training Program which was recently held at the Lindenhurst Rainbow Community Center. Many residents attended and learned about how to be prepared for any type of emergency. Topics included hurricane preparedness, how to create a 72-hour survival kit, active shooters, and the importance of getting the flu vaccine.
