The Mayor’s Beautification Society held its 2nd Annual Holiday Lamppost Decorating event in the Village on November 26th. Village residents that signed up to decorate a lamppost were given garland, a bow and tag displaying the registrant’s name. Volunteers decorated lampposts on Wellwood Avenue from Montauk Highway to Gary Street. The Village Board would like to thank Beautification Chairperson Gloria Sheahan and all the members of the Mayor’s Beautification Society for dedicating their time to making the Village look so nice for the holidays.
