Eagle Scout Project Dedication

September 18, 2020 by Katie McCaffrey

Anthony Chiarelli, of Troop 60, recently completed his Eagle Scout Project by constructing a Memorial Garden at Lindenhurst Village Park.  Mayor Michael Lavorata said, “Not every scout makes Eagle.  It takes hard work, extreme focus, and dedication to achieve Eagle Scout.  So, thank you, Anthony, for the construction of this beautiful Memorial Garden, which you dedicated in memory of my beloved wife, Helen Lavorata.”

Pictured here with Anthony (left to right) are:  Trustee Joan M. Masterson, Legislative Aide Anne Parmely from NYS Senator Phil Boyle’s Office, NYS Senator John Brooks, Suffolk County Legislator Kevin McCaffrey, Nicole Lavorata, NYS Assemblywoman Kimberly Jean-Pierre, Mayor Lavorata, and Anthony’s father, Joe Chiarelli.
