Helen Lipp Day

October 24, 2019 by Katie McCaffrey

Helen Lipp has retired from her position of Deputy Treasurer after serving in that capacity for over 20 years. Helen served the Village of Lindenhurst first as a Neighborhood Aid and, as a result of her diligent work, advanced to the position of Deputy Treasurer. Mayor Michael Lavorata said, “Helen Lipp will be missed, both professionally and most importantly as a friend. We extend our wishes for continued health, happiness, and success in retirement.” The Lindenhurst Village Board declared October 24, 2019 as Helen Lipp Day in Lindenhurst to commend and congratulate her on her retirement.

Pictured here are from left to right: Mayor Michael Lavorata, Deputy Mayor Maryann Weckerle, Helen Lipp, Trustee Joan Masterson, and Trustee Patrick Pichichero.
