The Incorporated Village of Lindenhurst proudly announces that it will once again be sponsoring the Summer of Fun Recreation Program at Lindenhurst Village Park. Please be reminded, THE PROGRAM IS OPEN TO LINDENHURST RESIDENTS ONLY!

General Information – The Village of Lindenhurst Summer Recreation Program takes place at Lindenhurst Village Park at Feller’s Pond. The camp is open to children who are Lindenhurst residents or attend school within the Lindenhurst School District. The camp is open for Lindenhurst children who have completed kindergarten up to eighth grade.
Registration Details –
VILLAGE RESIDENTS whose last name begins with:
A – J , will register MONDAY JUNE 12, FROM 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM
K – Z will register TUESDAY, JUNE 13, FROM 7:00 AM TO 2:00 PM.
All NON-VILLAGE LINDENHURST RESIDENT campers will register June 14 from 7:00 am to 1:00 pm. Registration will close early if the camp fills to capacity. This will also be the late registration day for Village residents, if there are openings available.
Registration Fees –
Village Residents – $75.00 for the season per camper. This fee does not include trips, shirts, etc.
Non-Village Lindenhurst Residents – $150.00 for the season per camper. This fee does not include trips, shirts, etc.
Registration Requirements –
- A copy of the camper’s immunization records. The records will be kept on file (Board of Health) and the doctor’s stamp or signature must be clearly visible. No application will be accepted unless you have the records!
- Proof of residency – campers must be eligible to attend Lindenhurst Schools
- Proof of kindergarten attendance for all 5/6 year olds – campers have to complete kindergarten by June 23, 2017.
- Please bring a pen. A reminder, trips and t-shirts will be sold at registration. Expect long lines.
Schedule – The camp runs for six weeks, from July 5 to August 16. The days and hours of the camp are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
