Lindenhurst Mayor Thomas Brennan has announced the launch of the Village’s new website villageoflindenhurstny.gov. The website was designed and donated by Efferent Media, a digital marketing agency located in the Village of Lindenhurst. Deputy Mayor Michael Lavorata stated, “We are very excited about the Village’s new website and hope that it will provide our residents with a closer connection to our administration and its various departments, and allow them to use it as a virtual Village Hall.”

The new website makes Village resources easily accessible to residents, such as the sanitation calendar, online forms and permit information. Forms pertaining to specific departments can be located under the “Departments” and “Resources” tabs. The “Groups and Services” tab gives information about the various community groups, such as the Mayor’s Beautification Society, and Village services such as the Community Center, which is host to the Rainbow Senior Center and the Lindenhurst youth leagues.

Trustee Joan Masterson commented that, “The new website will make it easier for people to locate information about meetings and public events, as well as download forms and documents, therefore saving them a trip to Village Hall.”

Please note the web address for the Village of Lindenhurst website has changed to villageoflindenhurstny.gov.
